S. Nicolò and the Krampus
On the night of 5 December, S. Nicolò visits children, bringing gifts to Piazza Angelo Dibona. He is accompanied by his angels and Krampus, the characteristic scary-looking devils who drag large chains whilst thrashing them about to frighten young and old, admonishing children who have misbehaved.

Nella notte del 5 dicembre San Nicolò fa visita ai bimbi del paese portando dei doni in Piazza Angelo Dibona.
È accompagnato dai suoi angeli e dai Krampus, i caratteristici diavoli dall’aspetto spaventoso che trascinano sbattendo rumorosamente delle grosse catene per intimorire grandi e piccini, spaventando e ammonendo i bambini che si sono comportati male.
Fèŝta de ra Bàndes
Organised every year by the Corpo Musicale di Cortina d’Ampezzo, it kicks off a week of musical festivities culminating in concerts on the last Sunday in August. Bands and folk groups from all over Italy and abroad enliven the village centre with concerts, parades, carousels, costumes and heartfelt folk traditions.
Fèŝta de ra Bàndes
Organizzata ogni anno dal Corpo Musicale di Cortina d’Ampezzo a fine agosto, prevede una settimana di festeggiamenti musicali. Bande e gruppi folkloristici da tutta Italia e dall’estero animano il centro del paese con concerti, sfilate, caroselli, costumi e tradizioni popolari, culminando coi concerti della domenica.
Sagra d'Anpezo
A typical Ampezzo event on the first Sunday in July, when the entire village is decked out in festivities, with stalls in the main streets, shows and events celebrating local tradition and craftsmanship.

Tipico appuntamento ampezzano la prima domenica di luglio, in cui tutto il paese si addobba a festa, con bancarelle nelle vie principali, spettacoli ed eventi in tutto rispetto e con tutto il sapore della tradizione locale ed artigiana.
Christmas
For the Christmas holidays, Santa Claus Village comes to life in Piazza Angelo Dibona, offering entertainment for all the little ones. On 24 December, children can meet Santa Claus and give him their letters. On the night of 5 January, children can expect a visit from the Befana. There are also small houses with typical products, such as spiced biscuits and mulled wine prepared by the U.L.d’A.
Natale
In occasione del periodo natalizio, in Piazza Angelo Dibona viene allestito il Villaggio di Babbo Natale, con molte attività d’intrattenimento per i bimbi, l’arrivo di Babbo Natale per la consegna delle letterine il 24 dicembre e l’arrivo della Befana la notte del 5 gennaio. Non mancano poi le casette con prodotti tipici, come biscotti speziati e vin brulè preparati dall’U.L.d’A.
Carnival
The most colourful time of the year, with numerous celebrations and festivals in the main streets. There are many activities for children, with entertainers, make-up artists, dedicated shows, the Masks Parade and many typical products to taste, such as the typical nighele made by the Sestiere of Azon.

Il periodo più colorato dell’anno, con numerose celebrazioni e feste in centro paese. Molte le attività per i più piccoli, con animatori, truccabimbi, spettacoli dedicati, la Sfilata delle Mascherine e tanti prodotti tipici da gustare, come le tipiche nighele fatte dal Sestiere di Azon.
