It has 46 bunks and restaurant service.
At 100 meters there is a winter bivouac for out-of-season hikes. The mountain hut was built in 1907 with the name Eggerer Hutte – after the First World War with the division of the territories it became property of the military state. Around the 1920s, the Biella section of the CAI took over its management until after the Second World War. From there it went to the Treviso CAI section. Since 1992 it has been managed by the mountain guide Salton Guido and his family.
