Description

From the Sant Hubertus car park, on the road from Cortina to Passo Cimabanche, take the beaten road up towards Malga Ra Stua.

After about 2.5 km and an hour and a half’s walk, you’ll arrive at the mountain cottage built within the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites.

Here you can enjoy some delicious cuisine and take a break in the sun. You may continue towards the Rifugio Biella and Rifugio Sennes (trail signs 6 and 6A), or alternatively towards the Rifugio Fodara Vedla (trail sign 9).

These routes begin at the Campo di Croce clearing, a few minutes’ walk from the mountain cottage. For the return journey, follow the same route as the outward journey. The route is not particularly difficult, except in terms of length, drop and variable snow cover conditions.

It is always advisable to rely on the Mountain Guides and to consult the snow and weather service before any hike.
