Description

From the Bai de Dones car park on the Passo Falzarego, take path 424 to the left of the mountain hut of the same name.

Continue for about 15 minutes until you cross, and take path 425. Continue along the road, which will later become numbered with the trail sign 439.

After about an hour, you’ll reach Rifugio 5 Torri, from which you will continue around the 5 Torri, one of the most unique and well-known rock formations in the Dolomites, towards Rifugio Scoiattoli, known for its excellent cuisine.

When you reach the mountain hut, you can either stop or continue for about an hour alongside the ski slope to the Rifugio Averau, which is also a refreshment stop renowned for its excellent cuisine. From both mountain huts, there is a spectacular view of the 5 Torri and the Tofana di Rozes, while the Civetta and Marmolada can only be seen from the Rifugio Averau. For the return journey, follow the same route as the outward journey.

The route may present difficulties related to snow cover conditions and terrain morphology.

It is always advisable to rely on the Mountain Guides and consult the snow and weather service before any hike.

The indicated time is for a round trip.
