Foliage season turns this loop into a pocket of stillness deep in the Natural Park. Starting from the Malga Ra Stua car park, follow path 6 to the first junction toward Forcella Lerosa, then take the clear trail on the left just past the little bridge. On the hill and in Vallon Scuro, autumn reveals itself gently — walking among golden larches in the valley's silence, you can often hear the distant roar of stags. Once you rejoin path 9 and then path 6 at the Boite springs, follow the signs toward Lago di Fosses, then turn off toward Cason dei Cazadores. Crossing peaceful pastures where ancient limestone boulders rest in the grass, the loop reconnects with path 6 — a perfect route for soaking up nature's slower rhythm.
