An invitation to slow down, starting from Piazzale Roma. After crossing the bridge over the Boite, climb Via Mortisa along path 228. Where the asphalt gives way to path 428 toward the Volpera Caves, the scenery turns more intimate — home to a rare cluster of beech trees whose leaves soften into copper and bronze. Continue uphill on path 430 to discover Lago d'Ajal, a small, quiet pool wrapped in stillness, then descend to the silent shores of Lago di Pianozes. The return to town follows path 425, passing through Campo di Sotto and Campo di Sopra. Walking through these open spaces, bathed in autumn's soft light on Pomagagnon, brings a deep sense of calm.
