In all cases, the program includes:
2:30 PM – meeting and presentation at the restaurant da Aurelio at Passo Giau 3:00 PM – lesson on the active ingredients of plants
3:00 PM – lesson on the active ingredients of plants
4:00 PM – transfer to Melei (about 2 km from the restaurant) where, immersed in the green of nature, a guided walk begins along a path in the surroundings of Giau. Different itineraries will be proposed during the outings conducted by Heinrich Abraham and Michele Da Pozzo.
The main edible wild herbs will be illustrated, with particular attention given to their recognition, and their use in the kitchen will then be indicated. Furthermore, with the help of a distiller, the technique for extracting essential oils will be explained.
Approximately 6:30 PM – aperitif at Aurelio's hut where, in collaboration with La Cave and Cortina Bevande, some wines will be presented for tasting along with themed snacks. To enhance the aperitif, creations from the skilled bartenders of Il Faro di Cortina d’Ampezzo will be featured.
For those who wish, the evening will continue with dinner in the hut where Luigi Dariz and his staff will offer an author’s menu centered on wild herbs.

All participants in the July Herb Courses will receive a useful themed gift: a body care product from the Lisapiù brand, which creates cosmetics in Cortina inspired by nature.
The participation fee is €75 for the course plus aperitif and €150 for the complete experience (course, aperitif, and dinner in the hut at Passo Giau), to be paid on the day of the event.
