Meeting with Davide Tortorella, Francesco Chiamulera, and the Trio Na Fuoia
Christmas stories for young and old, to help us be kinder... but also happier, more witty, and more savvy.
In a carefree back and forth between classics of the twentieth century, Davide Tortorella and Francesco Chiamulera, fresh from the Dickensian Christmas carol and the stories read together with many friends in past years, tell and read three unknown gems of Christmas literature. Alternating the words of Italo Calvino, Truman Capote, and Giovannino Guareschi with the sparkling Alpine sounds of the Trio Na Fuoia.
In Cortina, around Calvino's The Children of Santa Claus, A Christmas by Truman Capote, and Guareschi's The Christmas Tale, an afternoon of greetings and music, in the most uplifting and ancient spirit of all the Christmases in the world. What are you still doing in front of the fireplace? Hop on the reindeer and come to us!
Davide Tortorella is a translator, editor, and television author.
