Rifugio Ospitale – Passo Tre Croci

A beautiful loop around the Pomagagnon and the Cristallo, embellished by the Passo Tre Croci. Enjoy the fantastic mountain scenery on this gravel bike ride. From the Cortina d'Ampezzo bus station, take the cycle path that runs along the SS51 and travel the first few kilometres on asphalt, before the dirt road begins. The elevation profile rises slightly and becomes steeper and steeper, until you reach the Passo Tre Croci. From km 10 the real dirt part of this route begins. First, however, you can stop at the Rifugio Ospitale for a coffee or a snack. After that you can start the ascent with about 650 meters of elevation gain. On your right you can admire the imposing Pomagagnon, known for its impervious peaks. Once you have climbed this pass, relax and take in the breathtaking views. After a short break, descend from the pass along the SR48 until you return to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
