The Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites seduces you with the richness and biodiversity of its environments between plateaus, hidden valleys, enchanted woods and panoramic points. The mountain huts welcome you at the end of your run to reward your hard work.
To reach the starting points of many of the itineraries you can use the lifts which are open during summer – you just need the Vertical Pass.
Unmissable races
Cortina hosts several international competitions every year: in June the season opens with the historic Cortina-Dobbiaco Run, along the route of the former railway that connects Cortina to Dobbiaco.
Then comes the Lavaredo Ultra Trail, a spectacular event with races of different lengths: for daredevil athletes the most coveted challenge is the 120 km with its 5,800 m of positive difference in altitude, but to test yourself there are others of 80, 50, 20 and 10 km.
In September Cortina invites you to the Delicious Trail Dolomiti, a sporting, cultural and culinary event that enhances the historical, naturalistic, alpine and food and wine heritage with various races: 43, 35 and 23 km.
Gare da non perdere
Cortina ospita diverse competizioni internazionali ogni anno: a giugno la stagione si apre con la storica Cortina-Dobbiaco Run, lungo il tracciato della ex ferrovia che collega Cortina a Dobbiaco.
