The Medium Delicious Trail Dolomiti is a race along the trails of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, of approximately 35 km with 1,900 metres of positive drop.
It follows the route of the classic race that takes place every year at the end of September, starting in the centre of La Villa and arriving in Pocol. The trail reaches the start of the “artists’ path” and then continues uphill on the final stretch of the Altin track.
Shortly after entering the forest, participants follow a path that leads directly to the Gran Risa slope, near the start of the giant slalom, valid for the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Climb up the steep path always on the Gran Risa slope until you reach the Rifugio Club Moritzino, the first classic stop on the route – a great place to take a break and have a snack. On the plateau, continue towards the Rifugio Ütia de Bioch, to join the path that leads to the Pralongiá area and the Störes meadows.
The downhill path takes you to the Armentarola locality at the foot of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the uphill path begins leading to the RIfugio Scotoni, before reaching the Piccolo Lagazuoi peak at 2,778 m.
The path starts here, all downhill to Pocol, where the arrival point is located.
