In Cortina d’Ampezzo you can take part in a one-to-one experience with sled dogs educated and trained by the ASD International Mushing Sleddog School.

The activity includes an initial theoretical lesson including driving, sledging preparation and dog behaviour with subsequent snow trip for beginners lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Each group is accompanied by the instructors: Ararad Khatchikian and Monica D’Eliso, the only Italian mushers who have participated in international competitions in Alaska, Yukon, the European Alps, Iceland, Swedish and Norwegian Lapland.

You will discover how this sport excites and entertains. It is suitable for all: from children aged 6 and over to people with disabilities, because it allows you to bond with the animals.

This activity must be booked and will not take place until the minimum number of participants is reached. In case of bad weather, an alternative day will be arranged. The recommended clothing is classic ski wear (warm clothes, gloves, cap, glasses, after-skis or boots).
