Parking Sant'Uberto
A pleasant and historically interesting hike to Son Pòuses (1,832 m), on the southern slopes of the Croda de r'Ancona. The route starts at the Sant'Uberto car park and follows the path in an anti-clockwise direction, but can also be done clockwise. At its side is the stronghold of Son Pouses with many remains of fortifications, galleries and also a relic of the coat of arms of the double-headed eagle, symbol of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, whose two heads symbolise the two empires.
