A wonderful 23 km circular route starting and finishing in Pocol, with a positive drop of 1,300 m.
The route follows the path of the Short Delicious Trail Dolomiti, an event held annually in September and part of the Delicious Festival Dolomiti event: a sporting, cultural and gastronomic event dedicated to sport and entertainment, aimed at promoting the historical, natural, mountaineering and food and wine heritage of Cortina.
The route starts from Pocol and ends in the area of the iconic Cinque Torri, where you can run inside the open-air Museo della Grande Guerra.
The first refreshment point is the Rifugio Cinque Torri, followed by the Rifugio Scoiattoli and Rifugio Nuvolau, the highest point of the route.
From here the descent begins to the Rifugio Averau and Bai de Dones and then continues to Baita Resch and Pocol. The highest point is at 2,535 m (Rifugio Nuvolau) the longest climb is 1,060 m and the longest descent is 910 m.
