Alpine skiing and snowboarding are part of Cortina d’Ampezzo’s DNA thanks to the long history of these sports in the resort. Ski at speed or why not just enjoy the view!
Cortina ski areas
Faloria - Cristallo Ski Area
15 slopes (5 black, 8 red, 2 blue) and 7 lifts (1 cable car, 5 chairlifts, 1 ski lift) in the Faloria and Cristallo areas.
Don’t miss the technical slopes such as Stratondi, Scoiattolo, Canalone Franchetti or Vitelli, famous for hosting the giant slalom in the 1956 Olympics.
Tofane Ski Area
35 slopes (5 black, 10 red, 20 blue) and 12 lifts (1 cable car, 2 gondolas, 9 chairlifts) in the areas of Ista Ski Area in Socrepes, Pocol, Rumerlo, Pié Tofana and Pomedes and in those of Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo in Col Druscié and Ra Valles.
Don’t miss a descent on the legendary Olympic and World Cup slopes, such as the Olympia delle Tofane, Vertigine or Col Druscié A, on the completely natural snow of Ra Valles or on the simple but fun slopes of Pocol.
5 Torri - Lagazuoi Ski Area
16 slopes (11 red, 5 blue) and 8 lifts (1 cable car, 1 gondola, 5 chairlifts, 1 ski lift) enclosed between the areas of 5 Torri-Averau-Giau, Col Gallina and Lagazuoi.
Don’t miss a ski trip on the panoramic slopes of 5 Torri, Averau and Col Gallina; a trip with the Cortina Skyline cable car that conveniently connects Son dei Prade to Bai de Dones; a descent steeped through history on the Lagazuoi or Armentarola, 8 km long at the end of which you are towed skis on foot by sled horses. Ski tours such as the Super 8 or the Great War Tour are also unmissable.
