From Milan to Cortina d'Ampezzo, from September 11 to 16, 2025, over 500 km of cycling to discover the culture, flavors, and excellence of the territories.
The Great Ride Milano-Cortina is the cycling tourism event conceived by the Cortina Foundation that offers a unique two-wheeled experience, non-competitive and open to everyone, connecting Milan to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the two cities that will host the upcoming 2026 Olympics and Paralympics, crossing some of the most fascinating provinces of Northern Italy as well as 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites.
An itinerary that explores the cultural, productive, and scenic identity of the country: from culinary excellence to industrial districts, from art cities to Dolomitic landscapes, from historical roots to contemporary visions.
The Great Ride Milano-Cortina is much more than a sporting event: it is an experiential journey and a sustainable tourism project.
The event is designed to engage a diverse audience, from bikepacking enthusiasts to amateur cyclists.
During the route, participants are invited to stop to enjoy tastings, meetings with local producers and realities, cultural and natural experiences, in collaboration with local entities, companies, and consortia.
The Great Ride Milano-Cortina will open registrations on May 23.
