The Long Night of Churches

The Long Night of Churches is an event organized by the BellunoLaNotte association in collaboration with the participating Dioceses.

The idea was born in 2016 from the already implemented and successful project "Lange Nacht der Kirchen" which takes place in Austria and South Tyrol, involving hundreds of churches simultaneously.

For one day, in the beautiful setting of churches, various initiatives and cultural programs are organized: music, guided tours, exhibitions, theater, readings, moments of reflection, and much more. 

The collaboration is with the Italian Dioceses, their Vicariates for Culture, Offices of Sacred Art, Youth Pastoral, and many religious confessions. It is an ecumenical event.

An opportunity for everyone, both religious and non-religious, to participate in a suggestive and exceptional event, highly engaging to visit the sacred places of our cities in a truly original way.

Many events are proposed during the Long Night of Churches, free and with free entry

7:30 PM - 7:50 PM Basilica of Saints Philip and James - San Vito Choir

8:35 PM - 8:50 PM Chapel of San Candido in Campo di Sopra - Flute Quartet

9:30 PM - 9:50 PM Chiesetta di S. Andrea in Col - Melissa and Tullio will perform.

10:20 PM - 10:45 PM San Domenico (Ronco, Cortina) - Saxophone Quartet, some village residents will organize a convivial moment for participants offering shelter and refreshment.
