The Rifugio Averau, one of the ten best mountain restaurants in the Alps, has obtained prestigious Italian and international awards. Sandro Siorpaes, his wife Paola, and their children Margot and Matteo, delight their customers by offering traditional but refined cuisine. Try the casunziei stuffed with šciopetìs, wild herb with an unmistakable taste, collected by the cooks themselves on our meadows in the month of May. In addition: pappardelle Averau, pheasant and broccoli timbale, the “cappelli dell’alpino” and excellent second courses of game. There are plenty of delicious desserts prepared personally by Sandro and his team. The warm and welcoming atmosphere will make you feel at home, at an altitude of 2,413 m.
