Starting from the centre of Cortina, you can walk to the Faloria cable car. Before starting the race, stop to admire the panorama of the Ampezzo valley and the splendid view of the Tofane, Pomagagnon and Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Begin running along the Dolomieu path (212), a very scenic downhill route of about 4 kilometres, towards Rio Gere. From here take the Cristallo chairlift and then run down the Val Padeon passing through Cimabanche. Return towards Cortina, continuing the race in the direction of the Ice Stadium. Go up to Col Druscié with the Freccia nel Cielo cable car and then run back down towards Pié Tofana until you reach the Duca d’Aosta chair lift, perfect for going back up towards the mountain hut of the same name. Descend along the Tofanina route towards Cortina Skyline, the brand new cable car connecting the Tofane to the Cinque Torri. Once you reach Bai de Dones, it’s time for the Cinque Torri chairlift. Once you reach the Rifugio Scoiattoli you can explore the area of the trenches from the First World War, and then take the Cortina Skyline again in the opposite direction towards Son dei Prade. From here, passing through Pocol, you’ll finally return towards the centre of Cortina.
